• One delegate each with no voting rights: Association of Village Council Presidents, AVCP Regional Housing Authority, Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Coastal Villages Region Fund, Yukon Delta Fisheries Development Association, Calista Corporation

* Each Tribe must pass a resolution designating the individual whom they to participate on the Tribe’s behalf. Delegates will address the question of whether to improve regional governance through improvements to a regional nonprofit association or whether to establish a new regional constitutional government.

“Other tribes in Alaska and nationally have proven they can form partnerships and maintain individual tribal sovereignty,” said co-facilitator Carl T. Jack. “Only governmental organizations can threaten each tribe’s sovereignty. We should follow our traditional cultural values of collaboration and respect, in order to protect and preserve our traditional and cultural ways of life.”
