Calista Corporation Achieves Successful 2014 Financials

Second Highest Corporate Revenues and Third Highest Net Income

(Anchorage, Alaska) –

Calista Corporation earned in 2014 its second highest ever corporate revenues and third highest net income, at $401.9 Million and $32.7 Million respectively. The percentage of federal contracting revenues to total revenues decreased in 2014, resulting in improved diversification. This was primarily from the construction line, including Calista’s late 2013 acquisition, STG, Incorporated. These results follow a clean audit.

“The decisions we make and the successes we have are all with the same goal in mind, to provide the highest level of benefit to our shareholoders,” said Calista Corporation Board Chair Willie Kasayulie. “Combining dividends, scholarships, donations and more, but excluding payroll, total benefits to shareholders and descendants in 2014 exceeded $7.5 Million.”

2014 marked the first year in corporate history that two dividends were distributed in one calendar year, totaling $6.27 Million. Calista also provided a distribution of more than $630,000 through the shareholder-supported Elders’ Benefit Program. The nonprofit arm, Calista Education & Culture, distributed more than $344,000 in scholarships to more than 400 students with ties to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. Other benefits for shareholders and descendants included an internship program, cash and in-kind donations, and more.
